If you use Windcave don't run customer billing until the issue is resolved. If you already have please let your customers know that the failed payment is not their fault and they don't need to update their card details. Do this at Orders > Active Orders > Most recent complete order > Email Details.

We have identified the issue. A setting has been changed at Windcave that is causing payments to fail. Windcave is working on reverting the change at their end.

Payments appear to be processing normally. 1,004 successful payments were processed via Windcave across 11 accounts this morning, with only 50 failures (< 5%) - an expected failure rate due to normal credit card declines.
